The Dyscalculator is a regular calculator AND a helpful tool that:
helps you understand numbers.
helps you choose the arithmetic operation.
UNDERSTAND NUMBERS:
The more ways you experience a number, the better chance you have to understand it. In Dyscalculator numbers are presented in four different ways:
Number symbol (76)
Worded numbers (seventy-six)
Audio (numbers can be read out loud)
Graphical (numbers can be illustrated as bars)
A common mistake is to type in the digits of a number in the wrong order. With the Dyscalculator you can easily swap the digits around until you get the correct number.
CHOOSE ARITHMETIC OPERATION:
Four new arithmetic operations will help you when you need to know how an arithmetical problem should be solved. The new arithmetic operations help you when e.g. the question could be: "What should I multiply with, when I have a recipe for 4 people, but I need it for 7?" Here you would type 4 x? 7 and get the result 1.75.

The numbers written as words function is so helpful, even if just to check i've written the right digits in the right order to make the number i mean! (Or even to check how much the number on my balance in the bank means!). Makes maths easier to comprehend for dyscalculic people like me!

Love this app purely for the fact that i can type in a number (like the price of a car) and it tells me as i type how to say it in written word. I have Dyscalculia so it's been good to have this when i need it. I don't understand the '+ x -' bits...but then again that's nothing new for me! Great for what i've been using it for, Just need it to tell me how much change is in my hand and where i left the car and i'd give it 5 (five) stars.
