e-Sword LT initially installs with the King James Bible and the King James with Strong's numbers study Bible, the Strong's Lexicon, Smith's Bible dictionary, Meyer's devotional commentary, and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge cross references. There are over one hundred additional Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, reference books and devotionals that you can download and add to your library absolutely free!
Also available are some "locked" resources which must be purchased from their publisher. These are copyright and licensing requirements which are unavoidable.
Please note that e-Sword LT is an *ENGLISH* release (but does include Spanish and Portuguese UI localization.) There are dozens of non-English Bibles available, but all other content is in English.

Easy Bible study tool
As a SDA this app is so intuitive and simple. It allows me to study and prepare my sermons for presentation and gives me deep insight into the word of God , with the different study tools . This then allows me to bring the present bible truth to this modern congregation and prepare them for the light that God promises to send in the latter rain .
Not perfect, but indispensable
I was initially lukewarm about this app, but I’ve been using it for over a year and now find it indispensable. If you’re KJV this has everything you need for study, including all the classic commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries etc with a straightforward, easy to navigate interface. It’s a pity that the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps are all quite separate with no syncing of content/settings between them. And none of them get much in the way of updates or improvements—they all still look like rather elderly Windows ports. But overall, they’re good value, work well and are easy to recommend to anyone who has found the likes of Logos simply too overwhelming.

However, when using the links on words to Strong’s Concordance, then use further links found in the definition of the word, there is no back button. So you need to go back to the bible, find the word again, click on the link to return to where you were(!). Sometimes there is no way back at all (typically when you go to dictionaries). You need to shut down the app and start again!
Would be so much more helpful if, when using a link in the reference under a Strong’s number, you could easily return to the original or previous number. A ‘back’ button would be so amazingly useful! :) and the navigation buttons at the bottom works be helpful on the dictionary/lexicon page :)
