Print edition

I like to read the print edition of the newspaper but it is available later than it used to be. There some good things on the app like the puzzles but the rest of the news comes up on Facebook any way.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback. Our new app still includes the daily editions of the paper as before and these are released straight away as soon as the paper is available. If you're seeing yesterday's edition as the newest edition, you may need to close and reopen the app quickly to refresh the list.
We've also added a host of new features including live news updates, interactive puzzles and breaking news push notifications to keep you on top of the latest news as it happens.

The ‘New Look’ digital EDP+

I used to enjoy reading the EDP online every morning wherever I was in the world. The new version is not so easy to read, instead of flowing from page to page we have to choose which features to look at. The original version was like an old friend and I for one, found it so much easier to read. What prompted the change and were the readers asked at any point for their views. Sorry to be so negative but I am not happy with it.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback. We have not replaced the old reading experience, this is still available in the app and you can continue to read the daily e-editions of the paper exactly as before. These are located under the Extras section of the app.
With the new version of the app we've added live news, interactive puzzles and other great new features alongside the e-edition functionality of the old app to add value to your subscription and offer a choice of reading experience.

Why have I lost the EDP

I have lost the EDP on my phone why ?

The problem solved but only after verbal instructions from a help desk Lady at the EDP. The Developer should have included navigation instructions when the default change occurred. Better still give advice in advance before activating the new format which left Customers to find a way to get back to the full EDP and not even knowing if it was possible. Really poor marketing leaving us floundering.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with the app. Can I please ask you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app as this may resolve the issue. You should then be able to access all the latest news, interactive puzzles and e-editions within the app. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact us at nq-digital.subs@newsquest.co.uk
