Used it to remove some text from the start of 300 files.Quicker than creating something in Automator.

I’ve had this app all of 15 minutes. and it’s saved me countles hours. I have a substancial media library, in the region of 1000 films and as countless whole television series which i recently spend more then 2 weeks converting to play through my apple tv library sharing. unfortuntely the app i have for that adds the postfix “appletv3” after, this app changed every file in seconds. saving me all of time changing them manually, itunes didnt even loose the file location. Thoroughly impressed. it can also change the extension on file types, for instance many files i get have “.temp” after the extention. this app negotiates around my mac asking me if i want to change it with every single file. which is again considerable time saved.

Could do with a preview as another reviewer commented. But really it’s pretty good. And a whole lot simpler than using SED in Terminal. Update: Having used this app for a couple of years I still find it useful. The developer is responsive and open to suggestions. Keep up the good work.

Wanted to batch rename 100+ files that were missing an ".mp3" suffix. In regex, replace "\.$" with "\.mp3"App doesn't support that, only simple strings. No help text. Only works for very simple use cases. Would benefit from a "preview" mode that would describe what it was about to do rather than just click and pray you got it right, you could end up in a worse situation than you were before.
