EasyCanvas -Graphic tablet App 4+

Keeps Crashing - UPDATED REVIEW

I downloaded this app as it looked very promising. I thought I would be able to use my iPad as a graphics tablet. However whenever I go onto the app it automatically freezes and takes me back to my home screen. My iPad is fully up to date and compatible so I’m not sure why it is happening.

UPDATE: Great customer service! Although the app is having a slight problem at the moment they got back to me straight away to inform me of the problem. Can’t fault them. They have fixed the issue and are waiting for apple to review the update. Thank you!

Download blocked by antivirus

After purchasing the £12 access, I attempted to follow the instructions to download the PC-end software required. However, the app asks you to go to an unsecured website which uses the http protocol rather than https. The 's' stands for secure, the download page is not secure. Upon clicking download, the connection was aborted by my antivirus software under the threat name: "URL:Blacklist" This does not mean that the download is a virus, but just that the download link has been flagged under suspicious. I suggest not downloading this software. For the app developers, I would recommend getting your website a proper certificate and a https connection if possible. HTTP on its own is generally considered to be 'shady' and 'unsafe' and will turn away potential customers. Also, fix your download and get your product properly registered and verified. However, there are a few sites that suggest this software and it has been given a rating of 'potentially safe' on "IsLegitSite" Use at your own risk, it's probably safe but seems kinda sketchy as it is now.

Site needed to download PC app is Blacklisted

This is actually a good app that I used previously on my PC. I went to reinstall it after not using it for some time and on a fresh install of Windows.

I noticed that the site lacked a the “s”in the https in the domain address so I decided to make sure all was well by using securisite to scan the site. This revealed that the site is blacklisted by PhishTank and has a “critical security risk” rating as of now.

This looks like nothing other than lack of care on the part of this company rather than anything else. They need to look after their site so it can be safely accessed by those who but this app.
