Description

ECG+ interprets your Apple Watch ECG data to detect potential arrhythmias and abnormalities, such as PAC, PVC, Long QT syndrome, and T wave changes (inverted or flattened). It also calculates HRV to help assess your fitness and overall wellbeing.

Key Features of ECG+:

◆ Atrial Fibrillation Detection: Recognizes the most common arrhythmia that often requires medical attention.
◆ PAC/PVC Identification: Common, generally benign heart conditions that are automatically identified.
◆ Prolonged QT Interval Alerts: Highlights prolonged QT intervals, which can signal delayed heart recharging.
◆ T Wave Changes: Detects inverted or flattened T waves, which may indicate underlying issues.
◆ HRV Monitoring: Tracks Heart Rate Variability (HRV), a key indicator of general health and fitness.

Integrated with Apple Health, ECG+ maximizes the potential of your Apple Watch ECG, analyzing intervals such as QT/QTc, PR, QRS, and HRV. QT/QTc measurements are crucial for identifying serious arrhythmias, while HRV is widely recognized as an objective measure of physical fitness and readiness.

◆ HRV Overview: HRV measures the variation between heartbeats, reflecting autonomic nervous system health.
◆ QT Interval Measurement: The QT interval represents the heart’s recharge time between beats, essential for assessing cardiac health.

Explore Detailed ECG Analysis in the ECG+ App:

HRV and QT Trends: Track trends over time; an upward HRV trend suggests improved fitness, while a downward trend may signal health concerns. QT interval trends allow for continuous monitoring, with automatic alerts for prolonged QT.
QT Measurement & QTc Calculation: ECG+ measures QT automatically, offering six QTc calculation formulas for a personalized assessment.
Long QTc Alerts: Provides automatic warnings if QTc exceeds the normal range based on gender, highlighting potential risks.
Comprehensive ECG Reports: More detailed than Apple Health’s default report, ECG+ includes R-R markings, HRV Poincaré plots, interval measurements, heartbeat signatures, and more to offer a comprehensive view of heart function.
Disclaimer: Findings from ECG+ (including PAC/PVC detection, Long QT detection, and HRV calculation) are informational only and do not represent a medical diagnosis. Use this data to consult your doctor but not as a substitute for professional advice.

What’s New

Version 1.9.6

In Version 1.9.6, we’re thrilled to roll out the Export Your ECGs feature! Now, you can export your ECG data to a CSV file, which includes detailed measurements for each reading—such as PR, QRS, QT, and RR intervals—along with five QTc calculation options: Bazett, Fridericia, Framingham, Hodges, and Rautaharju. This range of QTc formulas allows you to choose the method that best aligns with your needs or healthcare recommendations.

The CSV format is designed to make it easy for you to track trends, perform your own analysis, or share data with healthcare providers, helping you take an active role in monitoring and understanding your heart health.

rMSSD vs SDNN info. Fantastic App

Would be great to have some info regarding what the selection of rMSSD vs SDNN actually entails - more specifically - is this setting supposed to match the HRV format of our smartwatch or is it the calculated output based on the raw data. I’m looking at this as, if I write from ECG+ to Apple health I’d like to know what impact this will have on Athlyitic app analysis - contacted them too.
A guide or help document would be the cherry on the cake.

That being said this is a fantastic app for anyone interested in viewing abnormalities in their single lead ECGs. Top work mate.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback, we have introduced a bit more information about rMSSD and SDNN on the settings page where it can be set, and we are also working on a new version hoping to make all of the numbers/concepts easier to understand. Please feel free to contact us about the impact on other apps that you are using, which we are very interested in. Cheers

One of its Kind - Seamless Quality

Does exactly what it says on the tin. No other app integrates as neatly with HealthKit while also giving you such easy access to R-R data with graphs and additional info as well.

Another "Lite App until you Buy"

Looks a great app, but doesn't do very much until you finally succumb to all the "Unlock for this" prompts. At £10 pm its too expensive. Its a shame so many apps are following this somewhat deceitful model, free Lite app with the real differentiating functionality behind a paywall with no free trial. Not everyone can't afford a phone full of apps at £10pm. The "Pay for features by subscription model" is out of control on iOS.
