Use daily for bus times
Use this app every day, it’s my go to app for bus times and usually I like it but it doesn’t seem to be working today 😫 please fix pronto because alternative apps are rubbish. This app isn’t as good for planning unfamiliar routes but it’s perfect for checking departure times from saved stops.
No long updated no longer working
This has been my go to app for years. It always gave you accurate times of due buses.
Unfortunately it’s not been updated for a
Number of months and it now only works if connected to WiFi, if you have 4G or 5G it will not load any data. I checked the app settings to ensure my phone allows mobile data and the settings are all good. Can only assume this app has died which is such a shame as other apps, going by the reviews are terrible for accurate bus information.
Not intuitive...
For someone who doesn't know Edinburgh, this really doesn't help much. It would be far simpler, and easier to use , if you had a 'current location', and 'destination'...
At the time of writing, I don't know the area at all. I searched for 'Royal Mile', and got a screen with about 50 stops. After tapping a few, I finally found the Royal Mile stop, and was presented with '36'. Now, I assume that is the bus I need to catch, but I won't know for certain, until I go to a bus stop...
Conclusion...
Not bad, but could be so much better.
