Elavon MobileMerchant is for any size business needing to process transactions on the go. If you capture customer card data on the road, then MobileMerchant will likely save you both time and money, while improving the sales experience for your customers. It can also be used at your location for payments during peak sales seasons, essentially creating a new payment terminal without the added expense.

MobileMerchant’s payment app and Bluetooth card reader allow you to accept Chip and PIN credit and debit card payments and process them in real-time. You will need an Elavon customer account and PIN entry device to get started. MobileMerchant is currently available for businesses in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland and Germany.
Getting started is easy!
1. Establish a customer account with Elavon and get the PIN pad (set up cost associated). If you do not have an account, follow the link at the bottom of the page.
2. Download the Elavon MobileMerchant App for free!
3. Once your customer account is open, you will receive your PIN pad
4. Follow the simple set up instructions and start taking secure payments anywhere, anytime!

Great and at times awful
Great when it works. When it doesn’t and your out and about on business make sure you have your merchant number with you otherwise there is no possibility of help from customer support. Yesterday my terminal switched from pounds to euros. I was outdoors running an event. In front of customer s I didn’t have my merchant number immediately to hand so had to turn several hundreds of pounds worth of business away. Be prepared for changes of password requirements too. This again can be spring on you in front if customers. Great when it’s working but it can be temperamental
Does not download
Does not work management need to get in with it or refund my £80 I paid for this
Poor. Error code from first use. Refund!
Doesn’t work when Elavon Datecs even though they say it does! Check before you buy!
