# USB Connectivity
Wi-Fi can be unreliable sometimes, so we're pleased to introduce USB mode to Stream Deck Mobile.
Connect your iPhone or iPad using a cable to your computer to ensure a rock-solid connection and keep your device charged over long sessions.
- USB Connection requires Stream Deck 6.7 or later on your computer. To connect Stream Deck Mobile via USB to Windows, the Apple Devices app from the Microsoft store is required.
# Bugfix
This update resolves an issue where virtual devices were not listed after pairing with a computer. We highly recommend all users to update to this version to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Very happy indeed
If you have the physical stream deck, this is a perfect addition. We use both in our radio studio for firing jingles and also for production. The iPad fires off jingles instantly and, admittedly, you do need to use the zoomed in function and it could look a little sharper with fonts and now the larger stream deck is available, an iPad deck to go hand in hand with that would be awesome. The functionality is fantastic, really easy to set up and use too. If you don’t yet have the stream deck, this is a great alternative, although I would advise using a dedicated tablet for it. Our studio uses it on iPad mini.
Works well for me
Others complained a lot and I was skeptical to begin with.
Ended up buying the lifetime subscription pretty much 10 minutes in. If you are having connection issues, it is definitely you, get your setup sorted.
I’ve been using this on my two iPhones, iPads and I also have stream deck with disks. They all work great. The only issue I’ve noticed so far was with stream deck being greedy and not wanting to share connection with a hub lol. Worked out at the end.
Perfect if you need a stream deck in multiple locations
I work as a graphic designer and started to get interested in using a Stream Deck as a productivity tool but wanted a solution I could use at home as well as the office (without having to buy two devices, or take one home each day). This app is perfect for that + has worked flawlessly with both iPhones I’ve tested, Xs and my old 5s. Only problem is now I want the Stream Deck XL and am back to my original dilemma!
