Embla is a 100% virtual weight loss clinic. Our app offers a selection of our services and tools to all users free of charge as well as the full range of support for our paying members.

The app can be downloaded and used by anyone without a subscription. All users can use the app to log their food and drink, exercise, sleep, medicine and symptoms. You can book a free health consultation with our nurses as well as chat with our coaches in advance of considering joining our weight loss program.

All consultations are held via our video system directly in the app. As a paid member, you can access a vast range of resources and support, share your experiences with other members, and get inspiration for your own weight loss journey. We facilitate healthy and sustainable weight loss through coaching, medicine and our app. We offer a weight loss plan to members with a BMI of 30 or higher, and those with a BMI of between 27 and 30, subject to certain conditions.

This app uses Apple Healthkit to synchronise your activity (steps and training). This contributes to the guidance you will receive during your weight loss plan.
