Simple and Effective
This app is so underrated, I’ve come from more popular pomodoro apps and I can say this is the best. Unlike the app ‘Focus Kepper’ you can easily track your progress without paying. It doesn’t have too much features which makes it hard for you to get distracted. You have the option to automatically move to the next session/break unlike others where you do t have an option. With other apps you may be so focused in the work that you don’t realise that it’s moved onto the break which is really annoying. In this app I just turn that option off. This has helped me focus much more than other apps such as Flora, Focus Keeper and Productivity Challenge Timer yo name a few.
Simple pomodoro timer
This a great timer. Very simple and clean design. I’ve tried a lot of these apps and this is one of the better ones. It has a few more advanced features like statistics and changing the length of timers, but these are hidden in the background if you don’t want to use them. In particular I like that while I think this app has a ‘pro’ subscription offer, this is not continuously advertised to you and doesn’t get in the way of the basic features of this app. In addition, there are no ads and a very clean intuitive interface. Would recoupment if you’re looking for a go to pomodoro timer 👍
£22 per year for a glorified timer app
App is good on paper, minimal Pomodoro technique timer. Until your 7 day mandatory trial expires and you realise that all the productivity stats are locked behind a paywall, leaving you with a glorified timer app that costs £22 per year to actually use. There aren't even any notification sounds unless you pay which is insane. No macOS app too.
Developers are hoping that you'll somehow see this app as being worth "just £2 a month". What they don't realise that the AppStore is filled to the brim with apps like this, all hoping to make a cheap buck from a user that fails to realise that subscribing to many apps at once stacks up overtime.
There are better apps than this available. I just liked the minimalism of this app which is why I gave it a go, butI am not going to pay for less, unless the price is reasonable.
