A great app for a DM

This app is a great tool for a new DM or one who is more experienced. The UI is very user friendly and I’m a huge fan of the great looking character sheets generated in the style of Dungeons and Dragons! The import xml support is excellent.

I purchased spell support for £0.99 but felt slightly cheated by the fact there were hardly any spells available. I think a good feature to add would be the ability to amend enemy health information like you can with player health once you add them to the encounter. Not all enemies have the same health when I play so it makes the game slightly tricky for me when playing.

Brilliant app to stream line your session

I downloaded this app mainly to keep track of initiative for my party. However I ended up buying all of the additional content and make use of it all in every session. The battle map support is fantastic, and has made running our curse of strahd campaign even more Immersive.

I have my iPad connected to a tv in the room, and use it to display maps, handouts and show the initiative order. My players are very visual people so it works wonders for pointing things out quickly and clearly. Being able to highlight things on a map or add NPC’s on the fly are extremely useful.

For those DM’a who like to plan campaigns extensively this should tick all the boxes. Allowing you to add as much or little information/maps/characters as you want.

There’s so many useful features in this app that I just can’t go into them all.

App support is also fantastic, have contacted the developer on a couple of occasions (mainly regarding my inability to use my brain and find something simple) and have had a helpful and clear response very swiftly.

Cracking DM tool

I started using this recently after having installed it ages ago but forgetting about it.

I wish I’d have started using it sooner - for someone not great at remembering initiative order (even when written down in front of me!) it’s a real life line. That you can add customisable conditions and statuses to PCs and monsters alike is extremely helpful. And being able to add in your own content, be it monsters or spells, elevates this to a must-have app for a DM.

I shared some pointers with the dev on how I think it could be even bette and to his credit he was appreciative and receptive. Highly recommended and will be even better once the spell link bug is squashed.
