Endlesss - Multiplayer Music 4+

It’s just wonderful fun, it’s quick to figure out, and if you’re new to producing I’d recommend it as it’s much more intuitive than any other music making program or app I’ve come across, and feels creatively stimulating from the get go. Honestly when I picked it up I was pretty depressed and it helped me feel something. There’s a really great community behind it on the discord, including Tim Exile running the show, who’s a top bloke, it’s easy to find help and support in all kinds of ways, and everyone’s input is welcomed. You can make friends through the app, or invite people you know to join you, it can be loads of fun trading microphone recordings and mashing them up, I’ve seen some people give the app to their kids too which I think is a great idea.

Just download it, give it a try, most people who love the app or idea of it feel it pretty quickly, and if you are you will be among friends for the remainder of your stay.

Besides being hideously buggy with constant crashes, Endlesss have a community which they refer to the team as ‘endlesss gods’ who have actively facilitated bullying on their own platform. Multiple users have had a negative experience after they threaten you simply for being honest about your experience with them. They don’t abide by their own T&Cs and act like cowboys with their utterly unprofessional ‘informal report process’ as they state. Their own team constantly enter into the charts and it is far more like a popularity contest than it has anything to do with music. Previously they were profiting from users content without their consent and instead of embracing, they simply do not value any talent or committed contributions. They have built a community of toxic positivity which results in if any of their ‘inner circle’ has an issue with you simply remixing them (the whole point of the app) and you are subjected to abuse, then there is nothing you can do about it. They do not respond to reports of abuse and instead they pick and choose who they want in their clique group of Tim Exile cult followers. It’s a shame to see a powerful music production app be run by bullies who do things like sending fake messages to you to find your home address!

I downloaded the app back in June and ever since my first jam experience with another user ( I lost 2hrs to it!) I have been addicted to it ever since. It’s really easy to use with great in app sounds and fx that get updated regular by the Endlesss team and members of the community. But it really gets interesting when you use the mic instrument. Hook up a class compliant audio interface or just use your devices mic and now you can lay down any sound you want. When you have a community with vocalists, acoustic players, modular noodlers and sometimes just plain weird, the diversity of the music being created on this platform is mind boggling.

And there is the community. It is so inclusive and welcoming regardless of your level of musicianship. If you download this app, get onto the Discord server, it’s half of what this app is about!
