Essential

Great daily aid to my German learning and likewise for my German friends english speaking. Was also a great accompaniment to German lessons. Waiting for IOS 8 bug fixes as the search facility is not functioning well....

New ios problems

Good content but audio unreliable with new ios. The app developers are always slow to fix issues with ios changes - pity because the definitions and audio are fine, when they work.

Can't go wrong really.

Bought this because it was cheaper than the big name dictionaries who were charging a lot more. This does the job well, plays sounds for new words and show grammer tables for the words you're interested in. Actually has the translation for 'crumpet' which is brilliant. (Kleines rundes Hefeteigbrot zum Toasten, btw ;-))

If there is one fault, it doesn't have all the tenses for words you want to look for. So for example I can look up the word for 'Arbeit', 'work' in english, though you can't look up 'Arbeitest', but it is in the conjugation tables if you search for 'Arbeit'!
