Description
Epic Digital is a fast-paced card game of fantasy combat designed by Hall of Fame Magic players Rob Dougherty and Darwin Kastle. It has all the amazing game play and beautiful art of a digital trading card game, but instead of having to chase down hard-to-find cards, you get unlimited copies of every card.
In Epic, each player starts the game with a score of 30 health. Your goal is to eliminate your opponents by reducing their health to 0.
You start the game with a hand of five cards, and draw a new card at the start of your turn. Your cards represent powerful champions that will fight for you or game changing events you can use to thwart your opponent.
Each turn every player in the game gets one "gold." Some cards cost a gold to play, others are free. This means you can play any card in your hand from the very first turn. There is no slow building of resources in this game. Epic starts at full throttle!
Challenge your friends or random players around the world to as many Dark Draft, Random Deck30 Sealed, Preconstructed and Full Constructed games as you like, for FREE!

Epic is Epic!
I have physical copies of White Wizards’ Star Realms, Hero Realms and Epic and I love their products and business models - so much friendlier and fairer than the standard rotation of Magic and Pokemon! I have digital versions of all my physical games (Pokemon, magic, card fight, Yu hi oh, Ascension) and this was the last one I had yet to own. Great game and thankfully it comes with an offline/ no internet connection mode which Pokemon , magic and hearthstone should really implement! Thank you White Wizards!
Tutorial Seems Incomplete
I really want to like this game. I love this type of game and I’ve played a number of them over the years. I’ve been through all the tutorials, but when I start a gave Vs AI I really have no clue about how to play. There seems to be a lot of stuff that just isn’t covered, or even mentioned, in the tutorials. It’s very frustrating.
As clear as Mud
Went through the tutorials, the voice seemed to be saying one thing and the written words something else. It did not really make any sense at all. Have blundered through a couple of the campaigns, but am still really non the wiser. The tutorial seems very light and incomplete, unless you have played the physical version of this game or you have a friend to help you at the start, give it a miss. There are plenty of other similar games out there with much better tutorials.
