Good but...

Hi! I have been using Epic! For the past 5 years and there have been no problems until now..... this was my first every encounter with a problem so if you are reading this I just want to let you know that Epic! Is quite problem free! The problem is well my school recently started using this app for reading and I wanted to read after school hours so I pressed the button to enter and email but I didn’t know the email I should enter so I clicked on cancel but I believe because I have my account on Epic! The next time I logged back on to my class it had a pop up saying (this here is the problem) verification email sent please verify your email and well there is no X button to exit this slide so how do I fix this?

Why isn’t there an ‘X’ button

I downloaded this and made an account but then it gave me a free trial but I didn’t want the free trial I just wanted to get off and read the books. All I wanted to do is read books but all I did was trying to get off a free trial offer that I didn’t want. Didn’t get to read books AT ALL 😔

I’m so disappointed 🙁 I was so looking forward to spending hours on Epic. I’m going on a plane soon and I wanted to download this so I could use it. I tried deleting it because there was no way out of the free trial offer. Then I went into my account I made 1 more time and the offer came up again. There’s some people out there who don’t want a free offer you know. Why can’t there be a place where you can make a child account not school account because my school doesn’t use EPIC. I just want to use it at home and make a home account. The kid accounts are just for school use. I tried making a parent account but like I said “It doesn’t let you out of the free trial offer!” I’ll never get to explore books on the internet again! 😭

Cool but suggestions

I think Epic! is a really good app for your children. I have a cool suggestion: make users assigned to the parents profile a admin so like if you want two parents (for example a Mam and a dad) and you want to make 2 different accounts you could go on one created parent account, add a profile and press the 3 dots thing then press a button called: Make Admin. I just think that would be a cool thing what could be added for parents who want seperate accounts. And the admins should obviously have the parents abilitys. Also my child's school has Epic! and not only that school does, but many others do, too. Also it would be good if you don’t have to pay.

Thanks for reading! :)

Also... how do you make a app?

Developer Response ,

Thanks for reaching out! We haven’t added the feature to change a profile to an admin status, but I think that’s an awesome idea! While there’s currently no way to do that, I’ll be sure to pitch it to the team and see what they think. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you’re looking for — most of the improvements we make come from ideas and suggestions like yours, so thank you for providing your feedback! We’re always striving to improve the app, and if there's anything else we could be doing better, we'd love to find out. Feel free to let us know your thoughts by emailing us at
