I was a very cautious person, last year I met a car thief and I just want to ramp up everything around my house. Nice to know that this ERA functionality of the alarm can inform the authority in case of break though and is very easy to setup. The new app is freaking fast to see the cameras videos, which is a good thing, never worry someone parking in front of my driveway ever since.

Reverted back to old app

It’s still a little glitchy in its early stages , installed it yesterday worked fine and it has the cancel auto renew subscription button which is a bonus but i noticed it’s got to be running in the background on your phone to receive notifications which was not the case with the old app and tonight it won’t log in at all I just get the spinning buffering wheel when I try log in so reverted back to the old app till glitches sorted

Avoid: use the older app

I was advised (probably like 90% of people using this app) to “upgrade” to this from the older app. I do not recommend this app.

The old app has longer even history that you can filter by day. The older app gives notifications instantly, whereas this one has a very long delay if it even gives you a notification at all.

Worst of all, I couldn’t disarm my alarm today with the new app. I tried the old app and it worked immediately.

The new app is clearly unfinished. All in all, I’m finding that the whole system in general is degrading as I don’t get any notifications for low battery on the sensors or siren, and I’m getting false triggers on the PIRs. The false PIR triggers are confirmed when I look at 24/7 video recorded on a different system as there will be no motion in the area the PIR is in.

So yeah, I do not recommend this system. Pay more and go elsewhere.
