Description

ErgMode is all about making it easy from you to go from couch to trainer. Simply connect Dropbox to the app, load up your .zwo files then download into the app. Forever more you will be able to run your workouts, in Erg Mode... in ErgMode. We strongly believe in training with ErgMode and keeping things simple.

ErgMode allows you to connect to a range of SmartTrainers like Wahoo Kickr and a wide range of other smart trainers on the market that can connect to an iPhone via Bluetooth. Cadence, Speed, Power & heart rate monitors are supported and you will see live data as well as target power as you step through the workout.

As you progress through the workout you will be tested against each target power out put. Cyclists who hit the desired target will get a tick, the crosses mean you need to try harder.

Once the workout is complete you can save your workout to dropbox and then upload your TCX file to any service for data analysis!

Doesn’t work

Tried this app a few times as a Zwift alternative. It looked ideal for someone like me who only used Zwift for structured workouts.

There are too many bugs and design issues to list. The biggest one, however, is that on my final try the app didn’t even control the trainer.

It could be good if the developer put some time into it
