Exceeded expectations
Upon seeing the first images of the game I was disappointed that it looked like glory of generals 2- EasyTechs previous game, which was terrible. They did keep the combat system from that game, however they made it good. The vast amount of campaigns is very well made and is definitely complex able without micro transactions, unlike ew4 and wc3. The empire mode adds a new way to gain resources for other modes and is quite helpful, as well as being a creative way to gain generals rather then just buying them. Conquest mode has been overhauled, consisting of many small battles rather than one large battle, is slower paced and much easier to keep track of. The game also gives you some great generals to start, Alexander being one of the best in the game, and even the worst of generals can be made good by using the equipment system to improve their stats. The way they have done the different eras is fantastic, as it gives the player control rather than a time limit like in wc3, and gives something to work towards, as well as providing more content with each step.
One thing that amazes me is the sheer amount of content in the game, and it has kept me playing for hours, soon days, and I still have in,y experienced a fraction of the game. Excellent game, 10/10. Another outstanding game from EasyTechs. The one thing that would have made it perfect was a multiplayer conquest that has been asked for for ages now, but maybe some day it will come
Way to grindy
Needing over 900 knowledge to age up and needing over2500 medals to level a hero makes this game the most grindy game on earth
