European War 6: 1914 9+

Top notch so far...

For 49p this is excellent value. Good sound effects and unit graphics. I always turn the music off so it makes the combat sounds more effective. It’s actually quite an exciting game. When you win a battle you get two next choices which is really generous, for if your struggling to get win one, then you can try the other. I can’t believe I won the second battle of Manassas as the Rebs where pouring off the transports. Can’t wait to see what job they’ve done on Gettysburg as I have a couple of games that cover that. The game covers the old century horse and musket then goes on to WWI tanks and armoured cars and field artillery. You don’t control all your troops, as the AI takes control of some - call it a corps or two as they are large battles - so I think it helps. Helped me win Manasses that’s for sure. I would highly recommend this game as a good hex turn based game. So it’s combat and city building and research and more. Challenging game that has good replayability.

Really good

I would definitely recommend this game especially for it’s surprisingly low price. It’s a great game for offline or just for a challenge. The campaign is brilliant and well thought about. It features many other modes such as the brand new multiplayer which I thought was just awesome and conquest where you can test out your skills against other countries in a First World War fashion. Not to mention it also having other years to fight in. My only idea for the game to thrive a bit more would be more years in conquest and overall a bit more campaigns and I would love if you would add more units. Either way it’s a brilliant game and it is definitely worth the price.

Hope they use some of this in World conqueror 5

The game is very good. The campaign is a very useful tool in order to build up tactics to use in conquest, while unlocking some very decent generals. The conquests are great since nearly everyone did want a WW1 game by easy tech. The new patch has definitely fixed, a few glitches and map errors. Also it’s really good how the difficulty has been turned down a bit, since world conqueror 4.

I know that world conqueror 5 is being worked on right now and, I would love to this some of these features in WC5. In the campaign I would like to see missions where you unlock either generals or key resources. Also I like how the difficulty is now a bit easier. Since you used to have to have, really good generals just to have a chance. Now I would love to see the same campaign years of 1939,1943,1950,1960 and 1980 but I would like to see better war status.

Now in WC4 I’ve always loved the game and previous ones, however in the year 1939, Germany weren’t at war against: Soviet Union, USA, Greece, China, India and a few more like Canada. I love the diplomacy menu but I would like to see neutral countries like Soviet Union and USA in the conquest 1939.
