Description
Platform information before the departure boards!
A very simple yet hopefully useful app to help passengers travelling from stations in London.
No one wants to have the stress of running across the concourse with hundreds of other passengers just to get a seat. Be prepared for your journey by learning your platform in advance, and have a slight head-start :)
All departures are shown along with their expected platform. When the departure turns green, the platform has been confirmed by the train companies.
Whilst I have found this data to be reliable during testing, *please* check platform and on-train displays before boarding.
This is an extremely basic app, but new functionality will be added over time. Please send feedback to platformfeedback@icloud.com

Fantastic app (from someone wearing a sling)
Thanks, what a fab app. Trying to avoid the mad Euston rush and the app got me to the platform nice and early. It seems it still maintains a small usership (I was one of two people at the platform before it was announced), which is good for the rest of us!

Seems to be getting slower
Really useful app but recently it often takes up to 2 minutes to display data. I thought this was due to Euston's free wifi which annoyingly you can't connect to automatically (you have to connect via your browser), but even on 4G it's slow.
When there are delays it would be great if train times and platforms could still be displayed past their scheduled departure time. Is this possible for a future update?

Hi, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear the app is slow to load the platform data. I've developed an update that will collect anonymous network statistics, to determine if this is a widespread issue. In the meantime, the new app should handle poor network conditions a bit more gracefully too.
Regarding having delayed services still being displayed beyond their scheduled departure time, this is definitely something I'm working on, and hope to release in a future update soon.

Great app
I overheard a conversation about this app today and downloaded it to try to avoid the Euston bun fight. My initial impression is it simple and straightforward and was correct for the first use.
