Ratings and Reviews
Amazing
I absolutely loved every minute of this game, the puzzles and progression are way better than monument valley but not too difficult so it flows beautifully, I was heartbroken when it was over. Well worth every penny. To those ppl that say it’s plagiarism get off your high horse most games are adaptations of others some improving as this one did. Infact I found the last MV dull with very little gameplay so this was refreshing. A huge 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Monument valley but not as good.
This is such a close copy of the game Monument Valley (MV) that at first I thought it must be a sequel or a spin-off. As well as the perspective puzzles this game also has a cute little main character with its own story line.
Evo's puzzles are slightly harder than MV and the game takes slightly longer to complete but the level design is no where near as beautiful or atmospheric. Evo's story line makes little sense and does not add to the game in any meaningful way.
Buy this game if you want more MV style puzzles, as there are a couple of new elements in Evo that make it worth while. If it's a choice between MV and Evo, then MV (and particularly MV2) is the better option. Mainly due to the beauty of the levels and the gentle, endearing storylines.
Both Evo and MV can be completed in relatively short times. MV took me one hour (if short on money you may be disappointed at completing the game so quickly). These games are ideal for kids (my 8 year old only needed a couple of pointers to complete MV) but for adults looking for puzzle games with a greater challenge and longevity, I'd recommend Euclidean Lands or LVL.
One of the best games in the App Store
I found this similar to monument valley (which I really liked). I found this even more difficult to complete than MV. As a result, it took me weeks to complete it, i kept coming back to it, so I feel like I got my money’s worth, it wasn’t completed in a day.
Nice music, well laid out. Very clever. Well worth the money.
