IMPORTANT: This is an outdated and unsupported legacy version. It's been superseded by Exchange Rates 3, which is the current version of this app and available on the Mac App Store as well.
There won't be any further feature or compatibility updates for Version 2.x. So if you need full compatibility with current macOS versions, you better upgrade to Exchange Rates 3.
This version here is only being kept available in order to provide existing users of this version with the most recent bugfix update.

This update fixes an issue which caused the update notification for Exchange Rates 3 to appear on every launch.
Please keep in mind that this version is a legacy version. Exchange Rates 3 is the current version of this app, and there won't be any further updates for Version 2.x. So if you need full compatibility with current macOS versions, you better upgrade to Exchange Rates 3.

Good, some improement could be made
Wish you could view historic charts of currency movements. Set-up is a bit complicated but once you figure it out, the ability to view E.R at a glance is fantastic.
Good once you figure it out
I am not a financial person- just need to track some currencies - I found it quite difficult to set up in my notification centre - I could only get the currencies I wanted to the pound - rather than the other way around, so it took me ages of reticking every box. Once set up though - very very good and such easy tracking.
Perfect
I’ve recent moved country and after having sold my home in the UK I’ve got a lot of cash to move to the country I’m living in.
So I’m always wasting time checking the exchange rate.
I thought “wouldn’t it be great if I could see the current rate in my control bar”, so went looking on the App Store.
This not only matched what I had in mind perfectly but it also comes with the bonus of a drop down that converts the amount I’ll be exchanging at the current rate.
