I can't praise Expedia enough I was in a bad situation with health issues and needed too make changes too my booking, which is for my daughters 30th birthday. So it was very important too me that the situation got sorted. I had spent a lot of money up front and my daughter is fantastic I don’t know what I would do without her. So I was taking her too New York.
All I can is Shikhar in the Customer Service team went up & beyond too get this matter resolved for me. When he said he would ring back he did, very punctually!!! Considering the amount of of customers they must deal with on a daily bases.
I got my refund within 24 hours, which he said would take 7/10 days. I couldn’t believe it. So I would just like to pass on my greatest appreciation too Shikhar & any the members of the team. They are all extremely helpful & willing too help in anyway.
I will differently be using Expexida again for peace of mind & a company with fantastic Customer Service !!!!!

I wish there was a lower rating than one star as this is all I could do.
Due to the BA strike our flight was canceled and although I booked the package through Expedia they informed me that BA would give me flights the next day and pay for me to stay in my hotel another night, Expedia do not phone you back and although they said they would pay eventually told me I had to pay direct to the hotel and then claim back from them.
I have been lied to on the phone today and kept waiting 32 minutes by they agent who after having receipts I had copied and sent to them showing the amount o had paid the hotel told me she had been gone a long time as she had to call the hotel and speak to the verbally... complete lies, now they say I have to wait 7 days to recover my money.....avoid at all costs.

Refund dodgers!!

If it was possible to give -5 then I would. Appalling company, Check the reviews on trustpilot also the feedback on Twitter. Expedia have left customers high and dry during this difficult time (covid 19). Zero customer service. Failed promises. No refunds. Constant lies. Emails to confirm full refund x 3, 3 phone calls all promise refund but have to wait 30 days. Day 31 call again and now it’s unwanted vouchers!! Email complaints - no response. Tweet - no response. Even after CMA update saying refunds have to be given nope not Expedia it’s still UNWANTED VOUCHERS!! Customers have long memories and stories of bad experiences spread faster than positive! Section 75 via my credit card. 35 days of chasing my money and being ignored and lied to is enough. I won’t give up Expedia. Oh and I have an emailed receipt of a refund being processed, obviously this arrived in the 30 wait period. Do the right thing by the people that put their trust in you. Shameful at this difficult time!!!
