Dalaman Fiasco ,

Security & check in airport fiasco

We have Travelled to Turkey for over 20 years and this visit to Dalaman airport was by far the worse experience ever, only two security lanes to enter the airport and taking forever one lane to check in then check in staff desperate for bags not to fit in bag sizer so they could fleece you and gutted when they did fit (obviously needing it for beer money) then another check to enter passport control only two desks open at passport control then another security check with one lane open and the rudest people Turkey could find working in security (don’t like it find another job)
Then the duty free man asking if I was good he nearly got throttled the clown !!
Travelled the world but by far the worse experience we have ever had to endure.
Only up side was it took that long to get through I didn’t spend any money at Dalaman and bought drinks and food on the plane it saved me a fortune
My advice fly to Bodrum and spend a little extra time on your transfer.. even after being checked at boarding my boarding pass and passport got checked again 🤬🤬🤬 Turkey sort your airport out, I thought Manchester was bad 😂 Dalaman airport get new managers

I can't praise Expedia enough I was in a bad situation with health issues and needed too make changes too my booking, which is for my daughters 30th birthday. So it was very important too me that the situation got sorted. I had spent a lot of money up front and my daughter is fantastic I don’t know what I would do without her. So I was taking her too New York.
All I can is Shikhar in the Customer Service team went up & beyond too get this matter resolved for me. When he said he would ring back he did, very punctually!!! Considering the amount of of customers they must deal with on a daily bases.
I got my refund within 24 hours, which he said would take 7/10 days. I couldn’t believe it. So I would just like to pass on my greatest appreciation too Shikhar & any the members of the team. They are all extremely helpful & willing too help in anyway.
I will differently be using Expexida again for peace of mind & a company with fantastic Customer Service !!!!!

Just the worst.

I’m sure when this website works it is great. However when there is a problem the customer service god awful. I spent over 12 hours trying to resolve the problems that expedia created. It was almost impossible to find anyone to actually speak to and the online “help” constantly tried to redirect me to options that had no relation to the problem I was experiencing. Everything is outsourced to agents who either, don’t care or, are so poorly trained that they don’t know how to help. I would recommend not using expedia based upon my past experiences. expedia’s version of customer service made me want to rub sand directly into my eyeballs whilst stamping my feet as hard as possible into a giant tub of Lego and upturned plugs. It is difficult to express how bad expedia can be through words alone. As the customer I offered them multiple easy ways to make the problems they had created right. They, at every opportunity, decided it would be better to try and irritate me further. If that was their aim they did a great job. I sincerely hope that expedia will go bust and no one else will have to suffer the insane levels of stupidity and incompetence that I encountered. Zero customer service. Zero stars - one is too many. After all that misery I find out they are Zionists. Free Palestine. Boycott israel. F expdia
