Generally excellent

My disappointments are doesn’t link to projects ... better to bill than customers, the Barclaycard categories do need to map directly to my Xero codes as well as allowing posting to direct costs, not just overheads, Barclaycard isn’t integrated, down to Barclaycard, but annoying, and finally I am struggling with the mileage GPS.

But MASSIVE improvement with a very easy use and great mobile apps.

Good if you’re in the USA working for a USA company absolutely rubbish elsewhere , changes things into dollars at not a good exchange rate, some things come as not changed during submission , says add bank account for reimbursement only works in the USA quite possibly the most useless business app I have ever used !! I would give no stars but that’s not possible
It’s actually worse when you use multiple currencies it won’t let you actually put in with what you pay , if you scan in a receipt in a different currency it only gives you the banks exchange rate on that day !!! It is awful truly needs minus stars
If you have staff that travel use concur yes it has issues but it works !! This is an appalling app to use a waste of time for multinational business it tries to be clever with its scanning but even that doesn’t work half the time !! Do your self a favour just use something that works

Hi there, thanks for your review. If your policy is set to GBP, then no exchange rate is necessary/required and all the features - except for reimbursement within the product - are available in your location. I'm also not sure what you mean by 'changed during submission' so if you could reach out to concierge@expensify.com we can look into that for you!

Your app doesn’t work boys....

Tried it today. Seemed like it had really good potential..... Then I tried it.... used camera to photo a good quality receipt into app twice. Both times waited over 5 minutes for it to finish scanning. I am connected via a home fibre internet connection but unsuccessful both times .... continually scanning .... allllwayyyss scanning.... no good if in a shop, restaurant with my woman, in front of clients .... or even if at home in front of nobody....

Boys! This app doesn’t work!

3 days later.... you sent me 2 emails to say the expense has been captured. TWO friggin emails for ONE £27($34) receipt.... So... I go into app. I see the entry. Tap to open it ... “an error has occurred...” ....can’t see the actual receipt that took forever to scan and I got two emails for.

What are you guys playing at?

You’re app doesn’t seem to work boys!! It’s an inconvenience for users. Hope the feedback helps.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. SmartScan has accuracy as its primary goal and speed as a lesser priority. However, most scans should never take longer than 2-4 hours. If your scans have been too delayed or never finish, please reach out to help@expensify.com.
