Back up solution for Notes

This is a simple, easy to use and speedy programme with which you can back up Notes in an accessible way – unlike any of the backup that Apple provides :-( All the notes get saved as individual files in a folder (note this is called "On My Mac" not "Notes") and by default are in alphabetical order. It seems to do what it's designed to do perfectly (on Ventura at least) and I will definitely be using it thank you. However, I've not given it 5* only because it's a bit too simple for my needs in that it doesn't export links within Notes, even when you use the save as HTML format option. So if you want to preserve links in your notes then you would have to go into each clickable link beforehand and manually make sure you have its source address written below the clickable text.

Fantastic app which exported over 200 of my notes quickly and easily into markdown.

Any notes it couldn't export were rendered reasonably well as HTML files and dropped into a separate folder named 'Failed Exports'.

Can't really ask for more than that, many thanks for such a simple, quality app.

HORRIBLE BUG Obsidian Users DONT TOUCH TH…(truncated)

MANY OF MY NOTES WERE DESTROYED BY THIS APP (via truncation) I’d give it zero stars if i could
I never leave reviews usually, but felt the need to leave this as a warning to others
I went to dump 1800 notes out of my iphone into markdown, to import into Obsidian
After completing this task I superficially checked the conversion and i wiped my notes from my phone and icloud.
My notes are one long paragraph, stream of conciousness.
All of these notes were truncated after the first line of the paragraph then three dots …
The app made the paragraph the title and truncated it
3 years of notes mostly destroyed by this app DO NOT USE! or at least keep a backup, dont make this same mistake I did.
This is an unbelievable bug, and if you check the reviews, its been reported before and the developer has done nothing to rectify.
So many memories lost, this is heartbreaking

This isn’t an exporter issue. The notes app treats the first line as title, and truncates it while fetching notes via the api, nothing can be done about it from exporter side. Moreover, Exporter is a read only app, it won’t modify your notes, so exporter destroying your notes is a wrong claim.
