Enjoyable game, with bugs

This game has a suitable control system which allows it to be picked up and played whenever. I have progressed considerably through the game and would count myself as an experienced player.

There are two main glitches/bugs that can ruin a race or even an event (something you may have spent 100 minutes+ completing). These are:
1)Drivers not pitting when the pit and tyre choice has clearly been selected. This goes as far as the system warning you your tyres are running out and need changing, even after you’ve selected the change, and your driver continuing past the pit lane proceeding to ruin your race as they lap again on ruined tyres.
2)Driver aggression/speed randomly changing, you may be out in front comfortably, turn down to green (the fuel saving mode). Randomly the game will jump up to full aggression (uses most fuel) and you will run out. Alternatively you’ll be chasing the pack and the system will turn down your aggression and choose a different mode (note: this is not related to the choice the game makes when you are running low on fuel. This happens mid race, early on etc.) I can be watching my drivers and without touching anything see my aggression choices change up or down and ruin my plan/race.

Good game but ...

It’s very good game for who is a f1 fan, who manage this game , do a 5 days of tournament , you can build your team ,your drivers and your car and you can grow up , but until at one point . To do another step , need a lot money , because update cars and drivers in high level is very expensive and need a lot to be very competitive. The way is to buy fake money is with real money , and for me is not sense at all spend real money for a game”point of view” . I think they have to increase the prizes when you win, and lower the costs to improve drivers and car. otherwise you will waste a lot of time even months . For example if have to upload a driver to level 9 and I need 860k , and I don’t have money enough , i can do a race for 60k because is my budget so I need to win 12 race in a row , to get 860K, it’s too much . I hope with new F1 season , they gonna introduce something new , I don’t know like once a week as a lottery and win a fake money , is pity because this game is very beautiful ,but as I said before , if you want be very competitive need to spend a real money . Anyway who manage this game are very professional people ,and I love this game ❤️ thanks for that because tbh is the best game ever .

Getting better

Post overtaking fix has provided a much more positive experience. There does seem to be some tracks which are near impossible to overtake which really shouldn’t be eg. Monza & Abu Dhabi. One feature I’m not a big fan of is there seems to be an RNG roll on how your drivers perform each race. How I seem to interpret it is if your driver has 70 overtaking, each race there will be a roll of 1-70 to determine how well you will overtake, same with defending etc. If true, from a realism view it makes sense, but it can be frustrating if you prioritise a certain stat for your race strategy. Eg you take Grosjean for his overtaking stat, meanwhile your rival uses Perez with much lower overtaking yet can slice & dice through the pack while you get stuck.
One feature that I think needs fixed quickly though his matchmaking with legacy teams. It’s ridiculous that you can have an instant loss just by seeing ‘2019 Team’. This seems to be a major issue & halts a lot of progression just by getting an unlucky match up. At the moment the comparison between the 2 years isn’t viable & should at least be a feature that players can choose to disable.
