In just a just a few clicks, offer the gift of joy every month with the Famileo gazette !

As many as 250,000 happy families have subscribed to Famileo, much to the pleasure of their loved ones.

► How does it work ?

Each family member sends their messages and photos via the application, and Famileo transforms them into a personalised printed gazette. Thanks to the family wall, the entire family can enjoy the stories and photos shared, whenever they like. Grandparents will love reading all about their relatives' news and seeing how much they care !

The service is available for:
- Your relatives living at home, in which case the gazette is delivered via the usual postal service. Subscriptions are available from £5.99 per month, with 1 gazette sent out every 4 weeks.
- Your relatives residing in retirement homes or partner communities, in which case the gazette is printed and distributed directly on the premises, for free.

All subscriptions to Famileo are commitment-free, advert-free, and can be modified every month.

Beautiful idea, easy to use

I love Famileo.
My dad is in a Methodist care home, and it’s free for us both to use, but when my mum was alive, in a different home, I was still happy to pay for her to have a weekly gazette, because she got so much out of it.
I can’t see my dad in person as much as I would like to because we live so far apart, but the gazette allows our family to keep in touch with him, and let’s him see what we’re all doing. He has very severe short term memory problems, but I have come to realise that regularly seeing our posts is helping him learn things like names of our pets, which he would otherwise not know. I’m not saying it’s important for him to know our pets’ names, of course, just that it shows me he’s taking in and retaining information.
When my mum was alive, we sent her a weekly gazette and, when we emptied her room, we found all of them, obviously read dozens of times, with many of her annotations. She loved seeing her children and grandchildren and wrote about her feelings on the gazettes. They are very precious to me now.
Writing posts is no more difficult than any other social media post, by the way. If you can do Facebook you can do Famileo.
Thank you, Famileo. I’m so grateful for whoever came up with such a fantastic idea.

So much joy

We did this for our parents as a Christmas and anniversary gift. They love receiving each gazette, and sharing it with their friends too. It's a great way of getting the grandchildren and grandparents talking as they can start a conversation about the things they post. It takes as much time to create a post on the app as it does to post on social media. The only downside for us is the low character count for messages, as sometimes the gaps look too much against the pictures, and you want to write more to explain things better. You can only post three pictures per message, but if you have a photo-collage app you can add them there and then upload that one picture. The quality of the paper and print is fantastic. Well worth doing!!

Developer Response ,

Hello ! Thank you for your message. The whole of the team here at Famileo are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying the service and that your parents love the gazettes. Thank you very much for the feedback. Something helpful which some customers do is to use one photo on one half page and use the rest of the half page space for pure text. If you just upload a message without a photo, the amount of characters at your disposal goes up from 300 characters to 940 characters: more space to write longer messages to your loved one. I hope this helps, and thank you again for the lovely feedback! We wish you beautiful gazettes to come. Sincerely, the Famileo team.

Great app

My dad is in a lovely care home, but we are all over the country so not able to visit him regularly face to face. This is such a lovely way to let him know what we are doing and to share photos of our family with him.
