Very similar

If you liked Faraway this will seem deeply familiar. Which is no bad thing. I’ve only just started so still at the beginning stages so I can’t yet comment on how it’s going to develop - hence only a 4* rating. It may well get a lot more interesting. We shall see

Fantastic, gives the first a run for its money

This game effectively does the exact same thing as the first, and I am not disappointed. Like the last one, the puzzles are brilliant, laid out in a way I enjoy, the music and visuals, while simple, are still fantastic and incredibly fitting, it’s just amazing. I would almost pay for the good version without any bonuses, but they’re nice too!

The only thing which it fails on is story. The first one wasn’t great but was sort of ok, but this one is painfully dumb, it just feels so weird and wrong, so illogical in every way. There were also a few glitches, and still not as good as the first overall.

In summary, they went the same route as the first game and I love it. Great feel, great puzzles, if you enjoy puzzle games of any kind, or have enjoyed legends such as Myst, The Room, or Faraway Puzzle Escape, I definitely recommend you play this game.

Edit: I just noticed they nerfed one very difficult puzzle from level 8, and I’m not very happy about this, as when I did it, it took me a while, but I loved every second of working it out.

Too Easy

I love the look of the game and simplicity of the controls, it’s very easy to play, and looks great. Sadly, it’s so easy that I got bored. Pulling a lever is not a puzzle. Pushing a button, copying a pattern or simply moving something is also not a puzzle. I would have welcomed some actual puzzles to work out, but nothing really needed working out, which didn’t encourage me to pay for the whole game. Nice to pass the time doing this on a long train journey but difficulty level was ‘easy’
