Description
Sadly a lot of people can't visit the Fells at the moment. It's a great time to look back on your adventures and start planning the next one.
Fells is a digital guide to the 214 Lakeland fells as described in Alfred Wainwright’s iconic series of pictorial guides.
Explore the fells using the interactive map of the Lake District, with colour coded markers to show which area they belong to.
Focus on a particular fell to show key information and a 3D map showing the terrain and nearby peaks, as well as a handy link to the Wikipedia page if you’re looking for more information.
Filter the list of fells by book, your favourites and whether you’ve climbed them or not.
Log your fell wandering activities in your logbook. Peak baggers can easily see overall progress on each area.
Add the date you climbed a fell, a photo and a short note to remember your adventures out on the fells.
Fells has been built with your privacy in mind - there’s no need to create an account and all logbook information is saved securely in your iCloud account.
Please note: For users of the original Fells app, your checked Fells will be marked as favourites in the new version.

Excellent App
Really good app for logging your wainwright journey. Easy to use and colour coded maps for each area of fells. Notes page for jotting down notes about each fell. Best wainwright logging app on the market. Could do with an overall total of how many u have done out of /214 and maybe a larger map that shows which have been summited but I downloaded all the others and this is definitely the best!
Nice app
Great little tracking app with a nice looking map which helps not only to see the peaks you’ve done but also the peaks surrounding a peak you’re targeting. Great for stringing them together. The only addition I’d like to see is a very simply TOTAL counter rather than having to add up the individual reasons… ‘xxx/214’.
Good buts needs more functionality
The app is good so far but a bit basic. You should be able to filter the map by climbed Wainwrights / unclimbed Wainwrights. The filter should also be possible for the list of Wainwrights - currently you have to scroll through the whole list.
Would also be good to view the map full screen, rather than just half the screen, which makes it a bit fiddly.
