Great app

This is a great app for browsing, viewing and setting recordings remotely. Just be careful not to select something with a $ symbol on the channel as it’s not in your package and will be chargable.

Needs the TV guide back!

Any decent TV app needs a decent TV guide. The previous version of this app had a perfectly functional guide, that was easy to find. This new version is beyond ridiculous! After 3 days trying I still cannot find a way of seeing at a glance what programs are on now and coming up in the hours ahead.

Choose the section marked "TV" you'd presume? Well maybe if you are satisfied with (after clicking another link called 'see all') a series of tiles with icons showing the channel name and text underneath naming the program currently showing... but with no indication of when it started or finishes. Want to find that out or what is on next, yet another click on that icon. That starts the channel streaming to your device - whether you wanted it to or not. And if you swipe right you finally get a list of all the channels and the time range for programs currently showing. But still not what comes next.

Finally I found a way to view upcoming programs... by selecting the "Control" section instead. On the left you now have the channels listed with the name of the current program and a single time - but only by deduction do you establish this must be the time the show started not the marginally more useful time the show finishes. Still no idea what's on next though!

So eventually you find on the simplified graphic of a remote control to the right a button called TV Guide. Hurrah you think... but don't get carried away. Unlike the guide you get pressing EPG on your real control, this only gives a partial channel list, omitting all the standard free to view channels like 1, 7 etc. And can you see what's on next? Well yes... but only by selecting each channel one at a time!

Extraordinary incompetence in redesigning something that worked really, and replacing it with something totally unintuitive and without such core functionality.

Stop. This. Madness.
