Keep your fit in lockdown with FIIT

I am a big gym enthusiast (when not in lockdown) and would go twice a day most days so the gyms being shut hit me hard and sent me in to a depressive state. I bought a few home cardio gadgets none of which are any good and a waste of time to help try and keep my fitness levels up but they didn’t work and I found it boring! I am not usually one for classes when I go to the gym but I do my own hiit circuits and cross fit type circuits, I was skeptics about getting this FIIT app but I’d tried apple fitness plus on my iPad mini and it was a struggle on a small screen so through sky I signed up to FIIT to enable me to do classes on the big screen.
Now I am not saying I am 100% enthusiastic about classes still but I make myself do 1 or 2 each day to help keep my fitness to a certain degree and there’s a wide variety of classes on the app to keep me going which I like. Even kettlebells which is handy as I’ve got one of those so I will be giving more of the classes a try over the next six weeks until my beloved gym opens again 😊
Overall it’s a very good fitness app, lots of choice for every level. Much better than apple fitness plus.

Made a real difference!

I was an on and off gym goer. Would usually go with my flatmate but found it a chore and didn’t enjoy it. Put on weight during lockdown but got a free trial of the service for 30 days. Was sceptical at first especially because home workouts usually make me feel like an idiot but I’ve been on a plan for 3 weeks now and I can feel a difference and I no longer feel stupid. I feel encouraged without feeling pressured while doing the classes, everything is at your pace. They seem simple but actually I end up sweating loads by the end. More importantly I’ve actually been enjoying doing it. I love seeing how many workouts I’ve done in a week and checking them off my plan.

As for results, I haven’t changed my diet much (which I need to) so can’t see loads of difference for weight loss but that’s my own fault. However I am more toned and I can feel a difference. The exercises still make me sweat but the exercises are easier and I can push harder. I can also feel my legs and bum are more toned.

Overall I think this app is great especially if you haven’t enjoyed the gym previously. I will definitely be purchasing a subscription.

I wasn’t in love to start with but now it’s better than the gym

As a regular gym goer I was looking for something in 2020 to keep me fit and enjoy if too. I tried several other services and didn’t find them right for me. Fiit came along and initially I thought the workouts were a bit hard to navigate (until I found out how to properly use filters!) and also a bit ‘bro’ esque at times. But I liked that they were U.K. based as the U.S workout stuff often doesn’t resonate with me.

I bought a heart rate monitor too, as the tracking and points seemed fun. I had a lot of issues with it to begin with and the support team were very helpful, even though I was ready to quit. This came from my own mental situation as well as the actual frustration, so their patience was much appreciated.

But I finally got on with it all. I found some of my favourite coaches and favourited them, along with my top workouts. I started simple and easy, and built it up. Now I manage more workouts a week than I did at the gym and I feel fitter and healthier! I think the movements and tracking are really great, and it’s so easy to do.
