Description
Find which neighboring squares must be painted and create a beautiful picture! Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.
To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.
For more fun, Fill-a-Pix contains no ads and includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

Great game but too expensive
This is a great puzzle game and I’ve been playing it for a long time now. But I can’t give five stars, even though I would love too. First I am missing a filter option when buying new puzzle packs. I would love to filter for difficulty to search through the 450(!) puzzle packs more efficiently. Second the packs are getting too expensive. I don’t mind paying £2-3 for a pack, but not 8. Also one daily puzzle that is free would be great. Right now it’s just one per week. Most apps have this feature. Would love to see it here as well. It could function as a ‘taster’ for puzzle packs with the option to buy the pack after completion.

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding filtering, this feature was released a few months ago and you can now filter the 450 puzzle packs according to difficulty, size, price and more. Please use the filtering button in the top-left area above the list and see how it works. As for your other concerns, please understand we never changed the pricing of the puzzle packs. What happened in the last years is that the Pound Sterling has become weaker compared to the USD and Apple automatically made the prices higher. We hope this will change in the future then the UK currency becomes stronger.
Good for the logical faculties.
I often find that if I get stuck on a puzzle, if I take a break and do something else, even a different puzzle, when I come back to it a clue that I had been blind to now seems obvious. The clue function can be very helpful if I’m completely stuck. But one improvement I’d like to see would be showing a clue in the area I’m looking at instead of showing a clue in some random area of the board. Another improvement I’d like to see is in the error checking function. On a large puzzle it’s sometimes difficult to spot the red cross that indicates an error. If the cross could be made to wink on and off, that would make it easier to spot.

The hinting system algo always shows you the next easiest step on the board, so the board movement is not random. If the next easiest step is close to the area you are working on then the board will not move. And thank you for the idea to make the error marks blinking. We will add this to our ideas list and will consider it later on.
Fun puzzles you can do again and again
I love doing these puzzles. As others have mentioned the prices more recently have put me off buying more but I have been working my way back through the packs I’d already bought trying to beat my previous times. I don’t mind paying for some packs because there are no ads and they’re such good fun, easy to understand how to play but difficult enough to do to keep me interested.
