I needed to create a one off video for my son to demonstrate domino toppling to his cubs. This app was very easy to use and had a remarkable amount of functionality in the free version. The slow motion was very effective with the domino toppling.The free version has a logo on the bottom right corner but I accept that as I didn't pay for it. It also doesn't have free backing tracks although you can use itunes if you have any. I will probably pay for music as the app is well worth paying them a bit of money and if I ever need to create another video in the future, it will be good to have.Some of the other reviews mentioned crashing and speed, but I didn't have any issues on my iPad Pro. It was remarkably fast.The only down side is that when you move the videoes, the titles don't move with them
Paid Features Don’t Work, Steals Your Money

I’ve used this app for a few years now editing videos on it using the free version. I have never had a problem with it apart from it taking up lots of space up until now. There are loads of features on the free one but we were going on a 2 week cruise and I wanted to add music to the videos and not have the watermark on it when I download it to my iPad so I decided to purchase a month (£5.49) of the pro version. Being 14 I don’t have a job or anything so I saved up my money for a whole month to purchase the pro version so I can edit my videos properly. It worked for 2 days fine however when we went on our cruise I edited 2 videos and then on the third day it offered me a free 3 day trial of it and the pro features that I had paid for were not working. Being on a cruise, we can’t use data unless we are in port and as the app is on my iPad, I can’t connect it easily to internet. After connecting the iPad to the internet, and pressing restore purchase it works again for 24hrs and then it stops working until you repeat the purchase again. I am thoroughly disappointed in this as I bought it for my holiday and it was absolutely useless for 5 days of my 31days I have. I went into my subscriptions account and it showed I had it until the 5th March. Do not buy the PrO version as it just doesn’t work and I believe it is a scam!

Filmmaker Pro requires an active internet connection to check the subscription status. If the app is unable to retrieve the subscription status, then it’s assumed that the subscription has lapsed. This app is very good for simple editing and is easy to use. I love how you can use Ken’s burns on videos as well as photos because it helps for my thriller videos to build suspense so I am happy about that. It is very easy to make cool slideshows just takes a second to load the photos you want on it and is easy to add music and cool transitions. No ads which is very good for me because I don’t like ads as they distract me and frustrate me a bit (even though I completely understand why you need them). Overall a great app. One thing you could work on is the chroma key because I would like to use green screen but I can’t get the “pro” version of this so I am a bit sad about that. But it is a great app and you should try it out.Edit:It keeps crashing when I put a minute long clip in it. Even though I duplicate it as it tells me to. This took a star off my rating so hope it gets fixed

You can only make 4 videos for free then you have to pay for it which is under standing but it would be fun to make unlimited videos with out paying. But because you can only do 4 videos without paying you have to delete some of the videos without paying. It’s not the worst app in the world but it would be nice to not only have to make four videos but this is how they make their money. If you want to pay I am sure you will find it fun if you don’t then you will have to deal with only making four videos. I do find it frustrating though that you have to pay for such a good app but maybe once reading this review they will soon change it !! But it is a good app that you can trust. So what f you do want to try it it is cool . I am not saying it’s really bad all I am saying is it would be nice to not have to pay to make more than four videos.
