FirstSeed Tasks 4+

This is a great little app I'm using regularly, however sync currently only works between iPad and iPhone, it's broken in the MacOS app and I've experienced a bunch of other bugs in the MacOS app I've relayed to the developer and am hoping to see fixed soon. Currently anything created in the MacOS app doesn't sync to iOS at all, despite what's advertised, which caused me to waste a lot of time before I realised. Only changes made on iOS will appear on MacOS, not the other way around. There's also no Today view which is strange to me for an app like this, yet the developer has created a complex Gantt diagram view which isn't usable on a phone screen due to small area. I have no idea why they decided to add such an elaborate unusable view before creating a Today view that works well. Possibly compromising on features to justify their other app which is a calendar. The watch integration looks lovely, but is hindered by the lack of a today view, and has a bug where completed tasks always show even if they've been cleared on iPhone/iPad, meaniing they must be manually deleted on the watch as well to make them disappear. Sync to watch is also not smooth, I have to open and close the watch about about 3 times to get things to sync up again. If these issues are fixed and a cross platform Today view is added then it would be great. Another issue on watch is it shows a lot of empty fields before the populated ones, just for the sake of making tasks editable on Watch, which for me and I imagine for most users isn't the primary use case; Apple Watch is great for following a day plan and less commonly used for editing. Hopefully the developer will remedy these issues and add more features like import & export, which also isn't supported currently, meaning if you use a "larger" app for longer term planning, the only way to dump tasks into this app is by copy-and-paste, which is time consuming and tedious.

This app is positioned as a task manager but it is so much more. The Kansan style adds real flexibility. As the app grows I can see it becoming as mandatory as Things.
I have used it to sketch out projects, draft books and brain dump to mind clear. I will contact the developers about some new ideas but it is so right already. I am using it every day. The clever design and coding give you so much more flexibility than most bother with. A very smart mind has designed this experience. Delightful.
