Add browsing by location (I.e being able to get British salaries rather than American is useful for some bowls)
Searching for bowls is more difficult than it should be. Typing ‘Engineering’ comes up with nothing, whereas scrolling through manually, there are a few bowls
Misleading Advert for the App
I thought this app was going to be like Glassdoor based on the video ad with the guy pretending like he is talking to someone who is getting underpaid in their job.
This app is literally not that, it’s like LinkedIn but more private. There is also no way to actually compare salaries, the only way to is to make a post and ask people what their salary is. I could do this on my own Facebook. If the ads for this app was more honest my feedback would have been better.
I would suggest the next ad you post for Instagram/Facebook please ensure it is more clear about what the purpose of this app is for
Fishbowl sell on your data
I signed up, curious about Fishbowl from an Instagram advert. The function shown in the advert was not available and instead, after supplying my work email address as required, I am now bombarded on a daily basis from marketing companies trying to sell me reports and services that I don’t need. This only started after signing up to fishbowl and my work email is not in any other public domain.
Avoid Fishbowl, it’s a platform for the owners to collect data and sell on, not to benefit you as a user.
