FitrWoman is built on evidence-based science to provide simple, actionable recommendations for female athletes on a daily basis. All content is grounded by peer-reviewed research.

It is important to recognize, however, that there are limitations: much work remains to further enhance our collective understanding on female physiology and sport performance, and while studies may support certain insights, there are always individual variations and exceptions to expected patterns to take into consideration.

Great App!

Really enjoy the app, the information it shares and the simplicity to log symptoms. The only downside for me is it won’t connect to Strava, it keeps saying “Bad Gateway”. Would be good to have that log, but otherwise thanks so much for such a helpful and insightful app!

Really impressed!

I found this via a blog on Strava. It is really good - no in-app purchases that I can see, no annoying ads, just really helpful articles, links, advice and recipes.

What I particularly like it the food information. I am vegan and wheat-, sugar-, oil/fat-, and caffeine-free by choice and the information and recipes on Fitrwoman do seem to cater to that. Thank you to everyone who has contributed recipes, they are really good, the ones I have seen so far - accessible and easy to make - I am definitely going to try some of them.

This app is easy to use and full of useful information. It also links to Strava which is really convenient.

Whoever formulated the app and made it free and also ad-free, bless you for it.

Now I am off to make an iron-rich smoothie, now that Fitrwoman has cut through the confusion for me!!!!!

This app has completely changed the way I train and the way I feel about training. Like when to push hard, when to be less tough on yourself. For 8 years I had REDs and now wonder why I was dumb enough to ignore what my body was telling me! Have recommended it to the junior women team at my club too.
One small thing - it could include some positives in the “Symptoms” e.g. energetic, happy, on good form, strong etc as these are useful to track too.
