Simple and easy
I think this is a good app, very simple, you won’t get confused. It is good for all I need, to study. Not much extra things but I haven’t tried sharing with friends yet! You can choose a “colour and icon” for each subject, this makes it slightly easier. You can have a folder labelled, for example: Spanish. Then you have mini flash card sets inside for “Spanish parts of the body” , “Spanish numbers” and that sort of thing.
You can add photos to remember but I don’t usually do that because then it makes it too easy for me! Most things are optional... I like this app and it really helps me, I hope you find it helpful!
Ps; not the best app I’ve ever came across but I think it’s worth your time :-)
Thanks Sooo much
I’m pretty sure that without this app I would have failed my Latin GCSE however since I downloaded the app it has been a HUUUGE lifesaver, now thanks to the app not only did I pass in Latin (pass mark is grade 4) I manage to achieve grade 8 (A*). I have had a look at some of the other Chegg apps and I can’t help but notice that there aren’t any whiteboard apps e.g. a whiteboard where you can simply brainstorm ideas, that would be wonderful. I think this app is really good to anyone who is studying for GCSEs A levels etc. As it really helps you lock in your ideas. Two improvements would be if when you have accidentally flipped a card whilst scrolling through there was an option to flip all the cards to the front and another option to flip the cards to the back so that you can reverse learn the cards as this is useful for modern foreign languages (MFL). Another improvement would be if it was able to share your deck with other users for example the Latin deck that I created has 200 words and since all of my friends are getting this app, they found it a pain to write down over 400 words (front and back). Other than this, the app is absolutely great and being free is amazing 😉. Evidently the creators actually care about the users 😊 👍 💪 📖 💖
Fantastic for languages.
I LOVE learning languages and have boxes full of exercise books full of vocabulary notes. Now I’m using this app and it has many advantages. It’s quicker to actually write the notes because it has voice recognition in all the languages I’ve needed so I just read them out load and it’s done. You can listen to a voice reading out the word in a foreign language when you’re learning to make it a lot easier to memorise. That’s not perfect (eg in Russian the stress is sometimes wrong but not often). The greatest thing it that I just use it more because I can get my phone out and revise vocab anywhere I am when I have a spare moment without carrying a load of books around so I’m just learning a lot more often and making much quicker progress. One drawback is that on iPad it frequent freezes, the ‘done’ button is very unresponsive and the edit tools don’t appear.
