This app allows iPhone users to directly book and check their taxis with Fleetways York.
Bookings can be made for as soon as possible, or any future date or time. This app allows all bookings to be checked, (even if booked by other methods i.e. by phone) and live tracking allows the location of vehicles to be visible at all times.
Note bookings made for ASAP may depend on availability of vehicles.

Simple but Useful
Easy way to get a fleetways cab in York rather than dialling 01904 365365. Dispatches the nearest car in your location and off you go. You can pay by card or cash what’s suits you. NO SURGE PRICING all year round. What you see in the meter it’s what you pay. That’s it.
Friendly professional regulated drivers as well.
A clumsy interface lets down this useful app
Changing your mind in this app is hard. Once you start to arrange a booking, there doesn’t seem to be a way to back out - except by closing the app from your home screen with a swipe up.
Otherwise, sign up is easier than other taxi apps: just a name and mobile number will do. And then once I was signed up, it told me about the booking I’d just made from my phone, which is handy.
Needs updating
App is very much out of date, doesn’t display full screen on new iPhones among other things, so is in need of a proper refresh.
