Clear, simple,stable app for logging work time
I needed an app which would help me record and collate the time I spend on each of my various projects, which I need to bill to different clients.
After a quick search on the App Store I saw Flexlog. It has everything I need: absolute to record time minute-by-minute for different projects. You can add your rate of hourly pay and the app will provide you with a tally that can easily be used for invoicing.
I wanted to add a note to each time recording of what the time had been spent on eg. Calls, emails, research, drafting etc but I couldn’t immediately see how to do that. Through the feedback section I contacted the developer and Tobias got back to me within a couple of hours. He explained clearly and concisely how I could do what I wanted. I went back in and added the notes. So now I am easily building comprehensive timesheets which will speed up my invoicing and be easy for me to review.
I purchased the add on package because it enhanced the app for me and the cost was very small. It was worth it. I can tell Siri the name of my project and Siri will go straight to being logged on (or off). It really couldn’t be simpler.
If you are looking for a sturdy yet simple time recording facility I would definitely advise giving FlexLog a try.
Almost Perfect App!
This app is excellent in every respect, it is so well thought out and the UI design is feature packed yet easy to read and navigate. You can add in holidays, run reports and save a back up to various locations, including iCloud.
Only thing it needs is a live display showing the elapsed time once you clock on to your break.
Apart from that, it’s perfect and I would highly recommend this app.
Clean and efficient,
perfect for tracking time spent on various projects. I am self-employed and tracking work time is essential. After looking at various apps I decided to go for FlexLog because it doesn’t over complicate things and I don’t regret my choice. As I was setting up, a question arose. I sent an email to Tobias and he quickly got back to me with the answer. All good and I recommend the FlexLog!
