iOS 4.2.0
Ability to edit MSX alignment for photos in the gallery
Displaying the phone’s status bar
Ability to dismiss image preview with swipe down
Stability improvements & bugs fixes

Compatibility note: With the 4.0 app releases and onwards, we have made necessary upgrades to the backend that handles the communication with the FLIR ONE thermal cameras (hardware). App releases from 4.0 and onwards are optimized for FLIR ONE Gen 3, FLIR ONE Pro LT and FLIR ONE Pro. The new releases have also been tested to verify compatibility with FLIR ONE Gen 2 cameras, however we have discovered that there is an increased risk of compatibility issues. If you own a Gen 1 or Gen 2 camera we recommend you turn off automatic updates for the FLIR ONE app and remain on the FLIR ONE app version you currently have, although there is no guarantee your current version will continue to work. Awesome, but...

Awesome app and device and truly shows thermal imaging. However the camera is so sensitive that even the slightest of temperature differences shows up. For example the heating pipes under our floor boards show up red/white, even though they're actually pretty much cold. So it's hard to gauge actually how hot the thing your pointing the camera at is. Also, I'm not sure about the outside uses - in an urban area, the camera picks up the heat bouncing around the buildings, and so shows them up as red, so at night, I pointed it at some people walking along the road, and it didn't show them - seems to only work at relatively short range when other heat factors are involved. As for places like the Forrest, I couldn't really comment, but I assume it'll be a similar result.

Camera is now a useless lump

WARNING: Don’t update if you have an older camera, unless you need an expensive FLIR One paperweight. My camera is now useless. How this can be termed an update when it clearly renders older hardware useless is quite beyond me; a big software release NO NO.
Please, please, please, please, please sort this out FLIR 😡

Waste of time

Latest update not compatible with G1. Advice from FLIR is to turn off automatic updates, which you can’t do on an individual app basis. Just more of the usual terrible implementation from this dire excuse of a company.
