Fly THIS! Flight Control Tower 4+

Hear me out Northplay; Fly THIS! Is a great game that has so much more potential that you guys just don’t care about anymore. That’s no fair way to treat a game is it? You left Conduct THIS! in the dust for years and then brought it back, even if it meant risking a lot of players by making it pay to win, why can you bring this game back too? I’ve played since it’s release; I’ve seen fun levels come more the closer we go to the last major update. Now they’ve stopped updating I’m no longer finding the game fun after all what is a game if nothing new is being added? I’m disappointed Northplay threw this game into the dust but who knows? Maybe they’ll bring it back.

This is generally a good game, where practising a level will, eventually, enable you to master it. But this game is flawed, with some bad programming, and some poor level design. I’ve just done a level (“Gatelocked”), which, instead of being fun, just left me feeling incredibly frustrated and angry. Far too many times planes went past airports, and crashed into mountains, causing me to have to repeat the level far too many times. When placing players under a time pressure, the programmers are expecting too much to ask players to draw pixel-perfect flight paths. The programming should have taken into account that the player is obviously directing the plane to the airport, and not into the mountain. There are other levels that have far too much going on on the screen, where you’re expected to control too much at once (with more planes than airports), with pixel perfect flight paths expected, leading to yet more frustration. Much of the frustration that this game generates could have been avoided with more thoughtful level design, and more considerate programming that doesn’t severely punish players who are a pixel off.

Games are meant to be fun. This game, whilst challenging, is ultimately more frustrating than fun. I am more likely to avoid any other games from this developer in future, as I will remember this game as providing me with an extremely frustrating experience, rather than the fun, entertaining experience that it could have been...

I loved Conduct This! And this game is just as good. It’s a bit trickier because you can’t ‘stop’ the planes, but I’ve worked out to ‘spin’ the planes in a holding position while waiting for a runway to be available. I agree about there being too many ads, but I purchased the game so I don’t have this problem. It’s not the cheapest game to buy, but I totally respect and admire the technical abilities of the team who have put this fab game together. Well done team!
