For an airline that specialises in short haul flights it’s appalling that the search gives you a huge range of flights and routes that are basically 2 flights. Why is there no direct only option??? It doesn’t have even have a calendar option so you can see when seasonal flights are operational. These are basic search options for any app. It’s much easier to use Skyscanner as it has a proper filter menu. I also don’t need the results served up in a massive font size that take up half the screen. Was this designed by school kids? Bring back the old one it was so much easier to use. This puts me off looking for a Flybe flight.

Ok, below is my first review from a few months ago. It was terrible. But I have to take my hat off to FlyBe for the updated App. It is great. Does everything that you need it to. No fuss. Quick. It’s great. I’m sure that this was just as a result of reading my review comments. :)
Have Flybe given up? Are they going bust? The flights schedule is great for me and the staff are lovely. But what if the tech on the plane is as poor as the app and website. The app seems to have had no investment and the website is very flakey (at least on mobile). As of March 2019, the app doesn’t allow you to check in and the website fails to generate the boarding card that I can use on my up-to-date iOS 12 phone.
Please make it work and stop letting down your great staff.

This isn’t a great update
I really think that Flybe need to change their app developer and find a new one. The new app update feels like an app from 10 years ago, very laggy, it doesn’t fill my iPhone screen (I’m guessing it’s only been developed for iPhone 5). The feature Flybe want to implement are fine, but the way the app is designed and functions just doesn’t perform. I would love to be a fly on the wall at the app sign off meeting when someone said “yeah let’s push this live”. Did nobody ask “is it as good as easyJet’s app?” Well I’ll answer that, no, no it isn’t.
