How come we all need nicknames ,

Perfect

I've been a Jumpcut user for a long time, so I was delighted to find this fork in the App Store when I needed it on a new Mac. I find most clipboard managers too complicated and intrusive, but this one is so simple in operation that it quickly becomes an intiutive part of the way you work.

Loses preferences

This isn’t bad; it’s basically the same as Jumpcut, which I put aside in favour of this simply because Flycut is available on the Mac App Store whilst Jumpcut is not — thereby making it less of a bother to update the utility if and when new versions come out. However, I find that Flycut does not always retain its preferences between logouts/restarts, and although setting them up again is not a huge hassle it is something that should not be necessary. I’ve noticed the same problem on two separate machines, by the way, so it’s not just a corrupt file on one Mac (and I have the feature that syncs settings between machines turned off). Long story short I’ve gone back to Jumpcut which never showed this glitchy behaviour.

OK but could be better

Simple and easy to use to simply lists out in order the various clips etc that you have copied and displays them in a simple drop down list from the tool bar, the only issue I have is once you have clicked on the item to paste into a document the drop down list goes back to an icon, now I would prefer the option to have it displayed so you can paste another and another clip without havn to open from the icon each time. Hopefully in an update! and that I would be happy to pay for, but still nice and simple and easy to use.
