Here's how:
Plan: Start the day by planning your activities throughout the day. Give each task an estimate. Plan your entire day, and try to get everything on your list done.
Focus: Go through your tasks in 30 minute blocks. (25 minutes work + 5 minutes break). It helps you focus by separating work time and rest time.
Retrospect: With stats, you can go back in time and see how good your estimates were, how much time you've spent on each task, and when is your best time in the day to get work done.

Nearly a good app
This app is ok! I have used BeFocused Pro for some time, which is a very similar app, but I think FocusList has a marginally better interface.
Bugs:

- it crashes quite frequently. Seemingly whenever open the stats page, it crashes, but it works after a restart. Hopefully this can be fixed
Feature Requests:

- I'd like the option to not have breaks, or to configure a break every X iterations, or at least to allow breaks to be 0 minutes. I like the option to have short Pomodoros of 10 minutes which allows for granular estimation, but then I'm forced to add 1 minute breaks onto every iteration.
- I'd like some way to export the data, although I do like the calander visualisation of work done, and the daily pulse feature.
Simple interface which helps the user to get stuff done!
Really nice, simple-to-use piece of software which aids the user to keep focused and work through a daily list in a practical fashion. If you’re anything like me whereby you feel overwhelmed by loads of tasks that need doing, this app helps to keep you on track and provides an option to allow for breaks in between your chosen duties. Highly recommended if you find yourself drifting off into procastination land and actually want to get stuff done.
