Can’t detect location, can’t access the app!!!
Very disappointing as this app won’t load at all because it cannot detect my location. Location services is turned on, Freeview has access, and it says unsuccessful every time! Even when I enter my postcode it says unsuccessful. I’ve tried my work postcode as well which doesn’t work either, and several nearby post codes. All say unsuccessful! My WiFi is working fine, and other apps get my location fine. Please give me an option to pick my region!!
It seems to be missing the main point...
I have used the ‘old’ Freeview app for a couple of years and had got used to it’s funny ways: like displaying the wrong date at the top of the programme guide and crashing occasionally when you clicked on an entry. But, at least it did give me (usually) what must be the main point of this app - an integrated programme guide. This version displays the time slots but fails to add anything further about any programme when any slot is selected. So I have to turn my TV on to see what’s on - which kind of defeats the purpose of this app.
As an app developer myself, I have to question the apparent lack of testing done to this app. I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne. A mere conglomeration of some 1.9M people. Not really a quiet backwater.... please bring back detail about the programme listings.

Thanks for your detailed feedback. We had a few bugs which were causing some issues with the app, the good news is that these have now been fixed. We'd love it if you could give the app another try.
A fantastic TV guide
This app has significantly improved and is simple to use with a slick layout. I cannot say how good this app is, the interaction with the main Channels apps is a joy to use. I’ve see this app for over a year now and the update that took place around 8 months ago has resulted in a top class app, great work to the app developers!
