Top class product for French learners

Before spending a fortune on other well marketed & known software products for language try this. It’s not priced exorbitantly as those well known major brands but I feel the results & value for money is far superior.

Not so modern method

I bought this thinking it would be a more contemporary way of learning. Unfortunately I bought into the ‘speaking street french’ sales pitch. It’s not. It’s very traditional and old school. Throws you straight into the needing to know language labelling & conjugating verbs immediately. Without any explanations or context. This is no different from the majority for teaching apps & online lessons. Other methods e.g. Learn french with Alexa is the same but more accessible & mainly free.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately, learning a language requires learning the rules of it (the grammar) and there are no 'magic' way to learn a language without knowing these rules. It would be like wanting to learn architecture without learning how to calculate the area of a rectangle! Any method that tells you otherwise is lying and will only teach you to parrot sentences, not learn a language. If you just want to learn pre-made sentences without knowing how to build them yourself, I suggest you try our free Modern French Phrasebook which will do just that. Cheers.

French Today

This is a splendid App because it allows you to work through all the French Today files with ease as one library. I had a problem at first retrieving my files, but help was given to solve the problem and now everything is fine. I am an intermediate student of french and find that the lessons are splendid for training my ear to understand a native french speaker.
