It’s getting better
I’ve been using the Friendly+ app for over a year now, having switched from Friendly app which I had previously used for a number of months. I like the continual improvements in the UI and Ease Of Use of the Friendly+ app, and so I’m making it more and more my app of choice for accessing Facebook and may also start using it for Twitter and instagram! I like it’s streamlined “uncluttered” clean look, the much smaller memory size of the app and also the fact that it means I can have a few less apps on my phone... as I have a 64Gb Phone... I may occasionally possibly go back to Facebook Messenger for its ease of use, though I’m pleased that Friendly+ app is getting better all the time! Thanks for reading..
Getting better all the time.
I took a long break from Facebook because I was sick of all the adverts. When I came back I decided to try this app again. I was really happy to see that it’s been getting even better in my absence. I mainly use it for the timeline, groups, comments and the occasional DM. It would be great if the IG stories could be developed a bit more. However I’ll take a stable app over feature creep every time. 👍 It works really well for me. Happy. Money well spent. Great work dev. 🙏
Disappointing
Update May 2024: the free versions recent bug fixes now blocks by keyword and other features. This pro version still doesn't do that!
Quite disappointing. It may not be the developers fault, it could be Facebook... I've used the app for years. I can hide ads based on keywords and sort by most recent. But recently I noticed that's not the case anymore. I see ads and it's in random order. So there is no reason to use this over the main Facebook app anymore. It's a worse app visually and functionally anyway (clunky) but that's fine if I hide ads and customise the feeds but now I can't, then the Facebook app is better. I hate Facebook anyway so I might not use Facebook at all now. Too many ads, too many time wasting stuff pushed in my face (Reels). Too many suggestions, things I'd like. Honestly, Facebook is just utter spam and fake news and ads now. There's nothing of interest in there.
