Description
The FRITZ!App WLAN offers a clear overview of all access points in the home network and notifies about available FRITZ!OS updates for your FRITZ! devices. The FRITZ!App WLAN makes it possible recognize whether your iOS device is connected with the FRITZ!Box via a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater or a FRITZ!Powerline adapter.
Use the "Measure WiFi" function to evaluate the wireless LAN at various locations in your home network and find out where there might be a WiFi coverage hole.
The "My Repeaters > Evaluate Repeater Position" function checks the quality of the connection between your FRITZ!Box and your FRITZ!Repeater. If the connection quality is suboptimal, you will be directed to position your FRITZ!Repeater further from or closer to your FRITZ!Box.
Click "My Repeaters > Configure New Repeater" for instructions on establishing a connection, and on finding the ideal position to improve the configuration of your home network.
Minimum requirement:
- iOS version 14 or newer
- FRITZ!IOS 06.50 or newer
Comments on "Measure WiFi": measuring can increase the home network traffic. This could impair connection speeds between other devices in the network (for instance, reduced video streaming quality).

Wlan app after latest update
Just updated to the latest version and now the throughput signal sits around 159Mbit/s directly next to the fritz box on 5Ghz before the update it used to sit around 370 is this part of the update, as i use this for customer visits

Hello zensec08, please uninstall the app. Please also delete the "App Instance" in the FRITZ!Box under "System - FRITZ!Box Users - Apps" and then restart the FRITZ!Box. Please make sure that your smartphone is connected to the FRITZ!Box via WLAN (not guest network!) when you reinstall and set up the app. If the error persists afterwards, we will be happy to look at it in detail. Mostly good, but what does it mean in the real world?
Nice tool to measure WiFi coverage, but I’m not always sure how to interpret the information. In some areas the chart shows my WiFi flipping between very fast and 0, but I don’t notice drops in internet speed tests in these areas.
As expected, coverage is better on 2.4Ghz but speeds are a little lower, but again internet speed tests seem to be impacted on this frequency whereas Fritz suggests they shouldn’t be.

Good useful tool
Just installed a 7530 plus some power line adapters. Using the Apps give me a fast overview of my network . Especialles the Alphabetically order of the connected devices when logging into the 7530.
